I’m glad to see you didn’t use it. Thank you. But it needs a name, like asterisk or ampersand or apostrophe. Is “sarcasminotaur” too much?
I won’t be able to remember how to spell that. How about something simple, like * Sarcasm Warning* *SW*
Typing out “*SW*” standing for “Sarcasm Warning” takes all the romance out of creating a specific symbol used to denote sarcasm. “Denoting” has a much more mysterious quality than “standing for”. And since it is a sarcasm warning, do we have to put it at the beginning of the sentence? And what about all the use of the shift key for your idea? Shift 8, Cap button S, Cap button W, Shift 8? Too confusing and too easy to sprain a finger. But you do whatever you want. I’m sticking with the sarcasminotaur.
